SARAH — CANADA 🇨🇦

**THE THERAPIST WHO THOUGHT HER BODY WAS DONE - UNTIL EVERYTHING BEGAN TO CHANGE**
• 25 years massage therapist
• Investment returned in the first month
• –18 kg personal transformation
• Now building a Face Up Method practice
The moment she decided to join the training happened during a rare day off. Sitting at a water spa, exhausted from work and feeling the weight of burnout, she enrolled.
Looking back now, she sees that moment as the beginning of a completely different chapter.
When she first discovered the Face Up Method training on Instagram, she didn’t expect anything dramatic. At that stage of her career she simply hoped to add a few new techniques to her practice.
"
I was hoping to get one or two moves I could use in my practice. I had no idea what was actually in store for me
"
You learn, you take the course, minimal help… and when it’s over you’re on your own.
Like many experienced therapists, Sarah had taken many courses before. Most followed the same pattern: learn the techniques, finish the training, and return to practice largely on your own.
She began to realize that something needed to change. Either she would have to find a new way to work that would allow her body to continue in the profession — or she would eventually have to consider leaving the career she had spent decades building.
"
After 25 years of deep myofascial work your body gets tired. You simply cannot keep up with the client load forever.
After more than twenty-five years working as a massage therapist, Sarah had built a respected practice specializing in deep myofascial work and treatments for high-level athletes. Her career had been built on dedication, skill and years of continuing education. Over time she had completed numerous professional trainings, from aesthetic education to multiple TMJ courses, always searching for ways to refine and expand her work.
But after decades of physically demanding treatments, her body was beginning to tell a different story.
“I actually signed up while sitting at a water spa because I was burnt out.
If that’s not a sign… my goodness.”

Who would have thought it all stemmed from something so simple as my breathing while working
After twenty-five years of working in one specific way, Sarah began to see something she had never fully understood before.
"
It felt like she was right next door helping you the whole time — from preparation to the hands-on training days.
"
From the start Olga gathered us together so we could build a team and support each other.
It was about her own body.
But the biggest realization during the training was not about techniques.
Even though Olga was teaching from another part of the world, Sarah never felt alone during the process.
From the very beginning, Face Up felt different from the many trainings she had taken before. Rather than simply teaching techniques, Olga brought practitioners together to learn as a group, connect with each other and build a supportive professional community.
A training that felt different
"
I displayed my Face Up Method certificate. It reminds me every day that my training has just started.
For Sarah, the training quickly became more than another certificate.
Throughout her career she had made a personal rule not to display certificates in her treatment space — there were simply too many of them. But the Face Up Method certificate became the one exception.
"
I gained a different way of looking at my work. I could see how something had been missing from each treatment.
That insight changed the way she looked at her work — and at herself as a practitioner. The transformation didn’t begin with new techniques. It began with the way she used her own body, breath and awareness while working.
As the training progressed, Sarah began to see how something subtle had been missing from many of her treatments before.
“It all started with me.”
After completing the training, Sarah began gradually reshaping her practice.
A turning point in her practice
"
Clients often say it becomes addictive — not just because of how they look, but because of how deeply relaxed and connected they feel after each session.
Today, approximately 60% of her sessions are Face Up treatments, while the remaining 40% remain massage therapy.
New Face Up clients continue to come in every week, and the response from them has been remarkable.
Many of her clients describe the experience as something completely new for their bodies. Some even joke that once they start coming for Face Up sessions, they don’t want to stop.
"
After a session it’s nothing like they have ever felt before. It’s euphoric and deeply relaxing.
Instead of continuing to grow her massage therapy client list, she introduced the Face Up Method into her treatments and began shifting the focus of her work.
Today, approximately 60% of her sessions are Face Up treatments, while the remaining 40% remain massage therapy.
New Face Up clients continue to come in every week, and the response from them has been remarkable.
"I recouped my investment in the first month after returning from the course."
"
You look in the mirror like you’re 20 again and you cannot get enough of how you look and feel.
Financially, the shift happened faster than she expected.
Many clients begin returning regularly — not only for the visible changes, but for the way they feel in their bodies.
But perhaps the most meaningful change has been emotional.
Her Parkinson’s symptoms have also stabilized.
“I found myself again. I found my balance.”
“I haven’t had any flare ups and I feel so much younger than 46.”
"
I stand through the whole treatments now without pain. I’m stronger and I can feel my clients changing under my hands.
Through consistent work with the Face Up Method and Face Up Club, that picture gradually began to change.
Today Sarah practices Face Up Club sessions four to five times a week. Sometimes they are longer sessions, and sometimes just five or ten minutes — but the consistency has become part of her daily life.
Her psoriasis has disappeared. She has lost more than 18 kilograms (over 40 lbs). She can foam roll her neck and back daily without pain and stands comfortably through her treatments.
"
Watching the videos now I can see how unhealthy my body was with the stagnation and holding on to fascia that wasn’t releasing.
But perhaps the most powerful part of Sarah’s journey is what happened in her own body.
Even diaphragmatic breathing made her dizzy. Foam rolling the back of her neck caused intense headaches and pain. Her Parkinson’s symptoms led to night tremors so strong that she sometimes needed to walk with a cane.
Looking back now, she can clearly see how much tension her body had been carrying.
Her personal transformation
"
This has been a transformation that I’m proud to carry into my late 40s and for the rest of my life.
For Sarah, the transformation is not something that happened once — it is something that continues to unfold.
Today Sarah has fully transitioned into a Face Up Method practice. She has more energy than she has had in years, a healthier lifestyle, and a renewed love for the work she once thought she might have to leave behind.
She continues to practice Face Up Club herself and encourages her clients to integrate these practices into their everyday lives.
