MEGAN — AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺

**THE PRACTICE THAT GAVE HER HER TIME BACK**
When she finally registered, she remembers feeling both excitement and nerves.
But another voice kept answering back.
“My thoughts were: what are you doing Megan? I had butterflies in my stomach — excited and anxious at the same time.”
“You will only know if you give it a go… and you might regret not doing it.”
When she discovered Face Up, she immediately felt that the work spoke to something deeper she had been searching for.
Before joining the training, Megan had never taken any other face sculpting courses. What drew her in was the way the method was presented — natural, thoughtful and deeply connected to the body.
Like many practitioners making a big decision, she experienced moments of doubt.
"
Will I enjoy this? Is this really for me? It involves time, travel and investment.
"
Face Up is incredibly dynamic. It encompasses so much more than just the face.
"
I wanted to enhance the lives of women, not only by lifting and sculpting their face, but by helping them feel more balanced, embodied and confident.
When Megan discovered Face Up, she was already deeply fascinated by the human body and the connection between physical and emotional wellbeing.
Her background included teaching, yoga instruction, anatomy studies and her own personal journey through nervous system dysregulation, an eating disorder and the changes that come with aging. Over time this led her to search for work that felt more meaningful — something that could genuinely help women reconnect with themselves.
BACKGROUND
She began to see how patterns of stress, trauma and held emotions are often expressed through the face.
This understanding changed the way she looked at beauty work entirely.
"
The psycho-emotional history of a person is often written on their face.
"
I felt connected, seen, heard and most importantly supported.
"
The links between facial tension, fascia lines and emotional history are fascinating.
"
I sometimes felt out of my comfort zone, but that’s where the magic was.
One of Megan’s biggest discoveries during the training was how deeply the face reflects what happens in the rest of the body.
She also felt something that stayed with her throughout the experience.
During the training Megan stepped outside of her comfort zone, which became an important part of the process.
TRAINING
Alongside her treatments, Megan has also started hosting small educational gatherings and events for her community — creating spaces where women can learn more about the body, wellbeing and self-connection.
Even with the additional costs of travel, flights and accommodation to attend the training, Megan recouped her investment within 7–8 weeks of paid clients.
"
I used to work very long days. Now I can see two or three clients a day and earn the same amount. I’ve gained my time back.
After completing the training, Megan launched her Face Up practice Luma Flow.
Today she works around school hours, offering Face Up treatments three days per week. She typically sees two to three clients a day, while earning the same income she once made working much longer days.
WHERE SHE IS NOW
"
I have never felt so on purpose delivering this beautiful modality.”
"
In my 21-year career, I have never felt more aligned in my work or more grounded and centred as a person.
But the most meaningful change for her has not been financial.
It’s the sense of alignment she now feels in her work.
